Together, these complementary initiatives link research, clinical practice, education and knowledge exchange. They offer an inspiring environment in which to develop strong clinical expertise, contribute to innovative research and build an internationally connected clinician-scientist career, with a structured research component alongside specialist training in Neurology and opportunities for clinical or research exchange visits at partner centres, subject to programme arrangements.

Your role :

·       Recruit and clinically characterise patients for the Luxembourg Parkinson’s Disease Excellence Programme cohort and related clinical research studies.

·       Establish, implement and optimise workflows for patient recruitment, clinical phenotyping and longitudinal follow-up.

·       Actively contribute to national and international clinical studies and clinical trials aimed at improving the early diagnosis, prognostic stratification and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

·       Design and conduct clinical and translational research projects in collaboration with national and international partners.

·       Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and clinical assessments, applying validated tests to evaluate neurological function.

·       Engage with ParkinsonNet Luxembourg, a multidisciplinary integrated care network promoting coordinated, evidence-based care, interdisciplinary collaboration, knowledge exchange and continuing medical education for healthcare professionals.

·       Contribute to continuing professional education, clinical case discussions and the dissemination of scientific advances to healthcare professionals through ParkinsonNet Luxembourg.

·       Participate in public engagement and professional education activities to raise awareness of neurodegenerative diseases.

·       Present research findings at national and international scientific meetings and conferences.

·       Contribute to scientific publications, research grant applications and collaborative research proposals.
